Yes they are relevant, Jane. Based on my visit to Intranet 2009 yesterday I was thinking: can't we make a simple description of what to do first when setting up an intranet (for the first time or a redesign)? What do you really need to get right? And what simple steps can you define to create a vibrant intranet? If everyone would put in best-practices (or wishes), we'd have very interesting info. Of course StepTwo's intranet roadmap taps into this.

I also think that the questions mentioned above are highly relevant. Additional topics that would be interesting are:

1. What metadata have been defined? Are these definitions in place across different information system platforms? What are metadata used for (e.g., search, recommendation services)? What processes have been defined for assigning and maintaining metadata?

2. Are users able to tag content on the intranet and to share such tags (social tagging). What are the experiences so far?

3. How is user-generated content (e.g. in wikis, blogs, or micro-blogging tools such as Twitter) integrated with content created in a “traditional” editorial process (same/different sections on the Intranet, same/different look & feel, ...)?
